As a founding member of the evolv group, setup the strategy, operating model, and infrastructure for Kraft Heinz’ new business incubator group. Worked closely with the CEO and board to bring it to life. We have so far incubated 6+ businesses, grew the team from 1 to 60.
As the leader of the Meal Hero business, led the acquisition of Wellio a Food Tech Startup and jumpstarted Meal Hero – an AI Powered personalized meal planning App with seamless connection to commerce. Grew the team from 9 to 30, Rebuilt the Food Intelligence Platform, launched Meal Hero to 100K+ downloads, established business development with top retailers, and more.
Transformed the My Food & Family Recipe CRM platform and setup a unified marketing and product tech ecosystem with eCommerce capabilities, and analytics capabilities to enable a 360 degree view of consumers. The platform is thriving with 15MM+ users, 100K+ sessions, and 1BN+ social media impressions.
Chief Learning Officer, Kraft Heinz (Oct 2016-Oct 2018)
I joined at a crucial juncture of Kraft & Heinz merger and needed to bring together the cultures and the capabilities of the company. Created Ownerversity, Kraft Heinz’ corporate university globally. Built the team from none to 9 members, created leadership tenets, launched 360 evaluations for business leaders, launched the leadership, sales and marketing academies all powered by an underlying capability model assessment that broke down the company’s value chain into key capabilities across tech, people, process, and performance.
Our journey included launching D&I initiatives, Onboarding Programs, New Manager Orientation, Functional Curricula, and path breaking programs like Brand Masters for Hi-Po, Performance Support Solution called Pantry, and company wide MOOC on PDCA. Of course, we launched LMS, LXP, a multi-year strategy, and played a pivotal role in design and rollout of behavior appraisal portions of performance and succession. We grew the corresponding engagement results by 12%.
Sr. Leader Digital Learning & Technology, GE (Oct 2010-Oct 2016)
I led the transformation of GE’s Learning Experience catering to 350K employees in 18+ countries, in myriad of languages.
We turned around the Learning Shared Services SLA adherence from 5% to 95%, rebuilt course/content experience across 32K+ courses, stabilized the LMS platform from 21 outages in 5 days to none. We de-escalated the platform from an enterprise risk tangled in legal injunction to restoring business continuity. At some point led a team of 100+ members and collaborated with 700 learning leaders.
Created GE’s BrilliantYOU. Think of it as Amazon meets Facebook for Corporate Learning and Development. I recruited a “band of misfits in L&D”, set the strategy/vision, and together with the team grew Smartbits – a social media community to 100K users, negotiated and launched a marketplace of courses, launched video, podcast, blogs, and experts, launched myriad of MOOCs, academies, curated learning pathways, and created first prototypes of using performance management data using Natural Language Processing (NLP) from PD@GE to generate a personalized learning plan. The platform found viral adoption with employees and is now GE’s corporate university.

Apart from being the manager, my responsibilities included growing the L&D practice at Deloitte as their US National service offering lead. Created Learning Methods and Learning Print – Deloitte’s trademarked tools to help companies go about their learning transformation. Sold and managed projects ranging ~$4MM+ for 3 consecutive years, and conducted several initiatives to grow the practice.
